Fall 2019 Enrolled Classes

CYSE 300: Introduction to Cybersecurity. 3 Credits.

- This class is a study of the field of cybersecurity. Exploring core cybersecurity topics including computer system architectures, cyber threats, cryptography, network security, etc.

CYSE 407: Digital Forensics. 3 Credits.

- This course introduces the basic concepts and devices/ electronics used in digital forensics. Learning the fundamental techniques used in collecting, processing, and preserving digital evidence on devices, networks, etc.

CYSE 495: Cyberwar. 3 Credits.

- This course explores/ looks at the national security dimension of cybersecurity and examines cyber war in international relations.

ENGL 307T: Digital Writing. 3 Credits.

- This course teaches students writing techniques in numerous digital environments such as web pages, email, wikis, discussion boards, etc. Students also learn about hypertext and digital/ visual rhetoric.

IT 325: Web Site and Web Page Design. 3 Credits.

- This course introduces HTML/ CSS web page building blocks. Students will work all semester exploring various techniques, ultimately building their own web site.

CYSE 494: Entrepreneurship in Cybersecurity. 3 Credits.

- This course teaches students how to form/ create a professional business plan, related to their major (Cybersecurity), which they will work all semester on.
